Ewig (traductions)
Peinture à tableau et craie, 2012
En prenant le mot allemand ewig (éternel) comme point de départ, chacune des traductions allemandes proposées dans un dictionnaire bilingue ont été inscrites. Pour chacun de ces termes, toutes les traductions françaises ont ensuite été inscrite. Cet aller-retour — en principe infini — a été maintes fois répété. /
Starting with the German word ewig (eternal), every German translation that appears in a bilingual dictionary was written down. Then, every French translations for each of these German words were also written, etc.

En prenant le mot français bouleversement comme point de départ, chacune des traductions italiennes proposées dans un dictionnaire bilingue ont été inscrites. Pour chacun de ces termes, toutes les traductions françaises ont ensuite été inscrites. Cet aller-retour — en principe infini — a été maintes fois répété. /
Starting with the French word bouleversement (disruption, changes, upheaval…), every Italian translation that appears in a bilingual dictionary has been written down. Then, every French translations for each of these Italian words were inscribed, etc.
Sept mots tirés du vocabulaire national-socialiste et écrits en police Fraktur. Chacune des lettres de chaque mot ont été superposées et la forme résultante a ensuite été dessinée. /
Seven words taken from the National Socialism’s vocabulary and written in Fraktur typeface. Every letters of each word have been superimposed and the resulting shape has been drawn.

Doppelgänger, Intervention murale. Lettres de plâtre poncées et peintes, 2008-2013
Dérangement (traductions), Peinture à tableau et craie, 2013
Lettres de plâtre en relief représentant le mot Doppelgänger et en dessous : double, sosie, les deux équivalents français. Les lettres du mot Doppelgänger sont poncées et la poussière de plâtre révèle les deux traductions en français. /
Relief letters form the word Doppelgänger and, underneath, the two possible French translations: double, sosie. The letters of the German word are slightly sanded, in order to have plaster dust covering any irregularities on the wall. The French words are then made visible.
